This organization aims to build the following delivery / courier app in a fair and representative manner.
AN UBER LIKE DECENTRALIZED FOOD DELIVERY APP
Democratizing the Gig economy using Smart contracts. Ultimately the goal is to offload the process of arbitration and thus capital requirements to a dispute resolution protocol such as Aragon or Celeste.
Use Case
- A hungry user (Foodie) wishes to order food from a restaurant however the restaurant is not listed on Uber Eats or other such platforms.
- Restaurant cannot afford to pay service fees or integration fees.
Problem Statement
- Looking to increase number of stores users have to choose from - Generalized, Deliver from anywhere too anywhere (Foodie to store payment channels set to grow - Yoco).
- Looking to later diversify into store picker system where users will be able to give driver cash to collect groceries, then perhaps ride hailing.
- If the system exists stores will list products on website instead of relying on integration.
Examples of why this is better for users.
- No Store integration required - separate store payment channel to be used - Yoco growing fast.
- Drivers will be better paid.
- Users will have more control.
- Drivers to set their own rates.
- Allow users to Offer more when Time sensitive or low availability.
- Allow Users to see Driver availability - to reduce risk of Order incompletion.
- Allow Driver to see destination and distance to be travelled up front.
- Allow users to stack collections into singular Pickup
- Allow User to edit order until X cutoff point before collection.
- Always allow User to contact Driver Directly.
Examples why we need dispute resolution.
- Foodie does not close job - wants refund for "bad service" even though it was successful.
- Foodie correctly/falsely claims goods were damaged during transit wants value of goods refunded - driver deposit slashed.
- Driver collects incorrect goods - Foodie wants refund.
- Goods are damaged before collection, worsens during transit - Foodie wants refund.
- Delivery is not completed, driver never arrives.
